Alrighty, I had a lot of fun for this one. I took a picture of my eyes and fiddled around with it in Adobe Photoshop until this was the final outcome. I like how it turned out and I hope you do, too. And no I did not misspell Darg. My older sister, when she used to role play created this entire race that I don't feel like going into a great deal of detail about. Anyways, there were like 8 or 9 different kinds, maybe more and each of the Starics (the creatures 'race' name I guess you could say) had different powers, personalities, elements, etc.) One thing they all have in common is that at a certain age, they can shift their forms from Human(with oddly colored skin of course o.O Darg, which was sorta like upright dragon with more human like qualities(scales covering their body), Dargon, which was a little bit more like a Dragon, but not completely, I forget all of the differences at this point, because the character I played was way too young to master thos transformation... And then Dragon form, full fledged Dragon! Yeah! She had different names for each color of Staric, I don't even remember what Vrendowl was... I know she was red and had tight corkscrew curls, that's about it.. >,< I'm so horrible. Oh yeah! and there was a star form, called either Da or Dar, I am not entirely sure. But that was basically a little ball of light that could only speak telepathically. Vren could do that no sweat. T_T And another thing I remember, Vren could put a fire energy into marbles and she carried a sac of marbles with her everywhere as well as her weapon of choice, slingshot! She would put the energy into the marbles and BING! BOOM! Yay! Fire. She was very immature for being over 100 years old. Of course she only looked like she was 7-8 years old with a mentality to match. So yay! You got to learn about my old role playing character and the origin of my deviantART name. ^.^;; (red staric um their name begins with an "m" if I'm not mistaken)
Anywho.. So this is a Green Staric's eyes, mayhaps I'll find out the actual name later, whilst in Darg form, maybe Dargon, I'm not sure, it's been over 6 years since I role played. x.x; It was so much fun back then. lol

{EDIT}
I found out at least two of the names. The green starics, like the one for this deviation are called Verd. And the red staric, like Vrendowl are called Mastry. Yay! Information!!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
